1937 - 39 Unity spent several periods staying with family friends in France and German
1941 Unity married David Greig at France Lynch in Gloucestershire on 9 April 1941.
1942 Unity and David moved to Pendine, Carmarthenshire, where David was part of a team working on Experimental Small Arms. During this time they lived with the James family at Westmead Farm.
1945 Martin born on 3 April 1945
1948 Jeremy (Jamie) born on 21 January 1948. The family moved to 100 Park Drive, Sittingbourne
1950 David won the National Rifle Association’s King’s Prize at Bisley
1951 Move to Oast Cottage, Tunstall
1954 Fenella born on 7 April 1954
1957 Move to 24 Rodway Road, Roehampton, London. David working at Bradbury Wilkinson
1967 Purchase of Broken Bank, Gladestry, as a semi-derelict four room cottage. Modernised and extended over the years.
1967 – 73 Unity worked in the children’s clothes department of Harrods
1973 Unity and David moved from Rodway Road to a penthouse flat at the top of Putney Hill
1978 Following David’s retirement, he and Unity moved to live full-time at Broken Bank. Many exciting trips and holidays during this period.
1984 Purchase of time share apartment at Praia da Oura in the Algarve. Several weeks spent on the Algarve each winter.
1994 David died on 7 January 1994
1995 Unity moved to 20 Elm Road, Hereford
1999 Unity’s 80th birthday was celebrated with a canal trip along the Oxford Canal on ‘Tranquility’, shared with Martin and Anne, Jamie, Fenella, Peter and their children.
2011 Jamie died Move to Bradbury House
2011 – 2020 At Bradbury House. Died 18th December 2020
